SW Austin Dump Truck Collision Injures Two

The South West Austin Car Accident
On Wednesday night, a vehicle and a dump truck collided on US 290 Hwy across from El Rey Boulevard. The accident, which occurred sometime shortly before 9:11 p.m., resulted in two individuals being injured.
Austin-Travis County EMS, Austin Fire Department, and Oak Hill Fire Department each responded to the crash. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they discovered one individual pinned inside the vehicle involved. The teams were able to quickly free the injured person from the wreckage.
There was also a second person injured in the accident, but it’s not clear from emergency crew reporting whether that person was riding in the vehicle or the dump truck at the time of the crash. The severity of the injuries of both individuals was also not reported.
